Education Advisory Board
City Academy is part of the CORE Education Trust. The school is held to account through an Education Advisory Board (EAB), which provides support, challenge and oversight to help ensure the highest standards of education, safeguarding and school improvement.
The Education Advisory Board works closely with the Headteacher, school leaders and CORE Education Trust to monitor performance, review progress and support the strategic development of the academy.
The Education Advisory Board meets three times each academic year.
Parent Forum
City Academy values the views of parents and carers and is committed to maintaining strong partnerships with families.
To support this, the academy operates a Parent Forum, which consists of two Parent Governors who meet with the Headteacher three times a year. The purpose of these meetings is to represent and discuss the views of the wider parent community. Parent Governors will gather feedback from parents and communicate key outcomes from Parent Forum meetings.
