Access to the Internet/Equipment  

We recognise that some pupils may not have suitable online access at home. If you are unable to access the internet, please contact the school by emailing [email protected]  

We will contact you to advise you of the availability of devices, including laptops, tablets and devices such as dongles that enable an internet connection. We are also able to support a request for additional data allowances currently being provided by some mobile communication providers.

Attendance to form time and lessons will be monitored. Each lesson will require the submission of an assessment. We will continue to contact all families where we have concerns about attendance, engagement or progress. Lesson assessments will enable teachers to check progress, and where any gaps in knowledge or misconceptions are present, teachers will contact students directly through MS Teams, to address any concerns.

In the short term, if your child has issues accessing learning online, we can arrange for printed packs. Requests for printed packs should be made via, [email protected], you must state the name and form of your child and a contact number so we can get in touch.

If your child does not have digital or online access, teachers will be in touch daily to ensure thorough assessment of progress can take place.
